Who is Robb Banks?
Richard O’Neil Burrell was born 24th September 1994, in New York City, USA, and is now a hip hop artist, best known for performing under the stage name “Robb Banks”. He acquired a wonderful deal of fame with the introduction mixtape titled “Calendars” and its follow up “Tha City”. His debut studio album entitled “Year of the Savage” premiered in 2015.

Early Life, Education, and Music Beginnings
Robb is the son of Jamaican reggae combination recording artist Shaggy and Carol Johnson. He spent some of his youthful days in New York City before proceeding into Broward County, Florida, with his mother, where he attended high school. Wanting to pursue a career in music, he also chose to drop out of high school to develop his passion as soon as possible.
Rise to Prominence
Banks began touring the nation and cooperating with manufacturers such as SpaceGhostPurrp. He had a brief hiatus after the year, before returning in 2013, declaring he was working on another project titled “Tha City”.
The promotion of this mixtape saw him releasing numerous singles, such as “All the Way Live” and “On Me”. In this period, rumours began spreading that he had been the son of Shaggy, which was initially denied, but Banks afterwards affirmed the rumours by posting an old family photo of himself with Shaggy on the pay of his second mixtape.
Following the release of his mixtape, he chose to tour and continue promoting his songs, declining to accept any new musical jobs for the following calendar year and has been seen in several nations.
He then said that he was working with a debut studio album titled “Year of the Savage”, hints in 2014 confirms he was still working on the project, and then put out the first promotional single for his record titled “2PhoneShawty”.
In 2015, he started working for YOTS and also a new affiliate Nuez, and released two extended plays, including “No Trespassing”.
His releases contained out-takes from “The Year of the Savage” and needed a lot of collaborative work using rapper Chris Travis. He then released the single “Pressure” and freestyle tracks, one of which supported the launch date for his record, after which he worked on a different mixtape titled “C2: Death of My Teenage”, which was really a sequel to “Calendars”. The mixtape comprised guest performances by XXXTentacion and Los Hosale — he subsequently went on tour to market, along with other rappers.
In 2017 he signed up Cash Money Records subsidiary Rich Gang. Robb affirmed that he was still an independent artist, announcing a new project known as “Falconia”, which would be a sequel to his project “Tha City”. He published the EP entitled “Cloverfield 2.0” before the only “A Milli (4 M’s)” as a promotion for his forthcoming release entitled”Molly World”.
The next year, he announced that his job “Falconia” would contain three actions and a total of 43 tunes.
For his personal lifestyle, not so much is known about Banks intimate relationships. He’d cite on social websites that he had a girlfriend but refused to supply additional information about her. His musical style is known for using heavy samplings of pop culture, Japanese arcade and old school R&B.
According to him, his inspiration comes from Biggie Smalls and singer Sade.
He also refers to himself as Femto, a character based on the manga “Berserk”.
Banks father is a musician and singer Shaggy, best known for his hit singles including “Boombastic”, “It Wasn’t Me”, and “Angel”. He’s also an ex-US Marine who served during the Persian Gulf War.
He has a total of five children from different ladies. He continues to launch music, however, no longer as hot when compared with the releases during his initial rise to fame. Despite the dad and son being engaged in the audio business, the two have never collaborated.
