Here are a few of our favorite autumn fashion trends that we think will be big in 2022. Cozy sweaters are always a must during the cooler months and we love the oversized, chunky style that is popular right now.

1) Biker’s Jacket – Leather Jackets & Trench coats are set to make a comeback soon with the resurgence of biker culture. A leather jacket is versatile enough to wear with both casual and formal ensembles. We have seen many celebrities wearing them lately including Kim Kardashian West, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga among others.

2) Suede Shoes – What goes best with a leather jacket? You guessed it right! We saw suede shoes making its way back onto our feet again. Many brands like Converse, Birkenstock, Nike, UGG Australia etc., are bringing out their own versions of sneakers with a suede upper. These are comfortable, stylish and affordable. If you love classic styles then don’t miss out on these retro-inspired pairs.

3) Long Knitted Scarves, Sweaters & Beanies – The long knit scarves, sweaters and beanies are all the rage now. And we don’t blame them either! Wear them with jeans and boots and let the wind whip off your hair. The knits look great even if they aren’t worn over a top. Just throw some earrings, necklaces, bracelets and a scarf around your wrist and head out.

4) Cropped Jeans – Cropped denim jeans are all the rage in fashion land. So go ahead and pair yours with a sweater or blazer and add a cute pair of heels to complete the ensemble.

5) Oversized Sunglasses – Oversized sunglasses seem to be taking over the world. There are huge frames like Ray Ban Wayfarers, Aviator, Oakley’s Kokoro collection, Giorgio Armani Wayfarer and so many more. Go big or go home, that seems to be the motto.

6) White Sneakers/Boots – White sneakers are making a comeback. They suit any outfit and are perfect for day time looks. Choose white lace-up platform pumps, loafers with high tops for evening looks.

7) Faux Fur Shrugs – In cooler weather, shawls are a chic alternative to jackets. Pair a faux fur shrug with tights and flats for a laid-back daytime look. Or choose something longer like a peacoat.

8) Black Boots – Black booties are taking over the streets. Not only do black boots match everything, but they also offer protection from cold winds like snow. They would look great paired with skinny jeans and a striped tee shirt. Wear them with a thick coat and snow gloves for extra style points.

9) Cuffed Pants – Cuffed pants are here to stay. If anything, they are going to become even bigger than they already are. Pair them with a fitted varsity jacket and you’ll stand out at a party without appearing to be overdressed.

10) Loose Denim Blouses – Do you remember those days of playing dress up and pretending to be a model? Well, what about dressing down instead? Throw any oversized loose denims on with a chunky necklace and watch how your outfit transforms.

11) White Button Down Shirt – Most people wear button downs with a collared shirt underneath and a tie pin. But there are plenty of occasions where a white shirt will work just fine as a wardrobe staple. Look no further than summertime and the beach. It isn’t uncommon for men to walk around bare chested. Even though it might feel uncomfortable sometimes, a cool white cotton polo is always appropriate in hot weather.

12) Statement Necklace – Looking for something different to spice up your everyday outfits? Try adding a statement necklace to your collection. From brightly coloured chains to bold gold necklaces, there is surely something that suits you.

13) Short Haircuts – Men can get away with short haircuts, while women need to stick to a certain length. However, the shorter styles are showing up everywhere. If you want a trendy haircut, try styling it differently with a slick side parting.

14) Dark Brown Nails – As dark nails continue to gain popularity, this year brown is the newest trend. Whether blonde or red, it doesn’t matter. All you need to know is that the darker color makes for a stronger contrast on your nails and is easier on the eyes. Try experimenting with nail art designs to give your manicure a unique twist.
