Whitney Wild is an American journalist. She was born and raised in Michigan, the USA, on January 21, 1988. She is the current national correspondent at CNN News source Washington D.C., covering digital content and live reports.
Whitney earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Comparative Literature. She went on to Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, where she received a master’s in Broadcasting. Whitney was a key member of “Sigma Kappa” while studying at Michigan University.

Her reporting on the anniversary and chance encounter of two victims of a plane crash in Vietnam during Operation Babylift (President Gerald Ford’s 1975 plan for thousands of children to be rescued from war-torn Vietnam) won her a Heartland Chapter Emmy Award.
