Why God does not answer prayers: Unanswered prayers

[the_ad id=”797″]
Calvary greetings, sometimes we ask series of questions like why God doesn’t answer prayers or reasons for unanswered prayers. The fact is we shouldn’t question God why he doesn’t answer prayers. I have written top 5 reasons why our prayers are not answered or why we get unanswered prayers.

FIVE REASONS WHY GOD DOESN’T ANSWER PRAYERS

  1. God’s idea of a “good thing” is probably difference from yours.

You might be praying for a husband, a job you’ve been hoping for, or to win the lottery and you will end up with unanswered prayers. Why would God not come up with any or all of the three? Because despite the fact that you would possibly feel it’s cool to be married, or to be working in a company you want, or to have extra cash, God’s opinion might differ and that why he doesn’t answer prayers. It’s simply due to the fact some things makes us satisfied doesn’t mean it’s desirable for us, endlessly. And God has our eternal best in thoughts.

In Matthew 7:11 Jesus said, “if you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him.”

  1. God is patiently waiting for you to be obedient.

Scripture exhorts husbands to be considerate in their other halves and treat them with respect so that their prayers aren’t hindered (1 Peter 3:7). And Psalm 84:11 says “no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Are you feeling upright? Are you obedient to him and surrendered to Him? If not, God can be withholding or refusing to acknowledge your prayers to get you returned into line with his will and purposes. This is another reason for unanswered prayers

  1. It isn’t the right time.

God has three solutions. Yes, no, and wait. Because He can see what’s eternally satisfactory for us, and He can also see what’s coming down the road (and we can’t), trust His judgment. Don’t second-guess Him. His timing is always preferably than yours. In case you are taking walks uprightly and what you’re asking for is truly a good thing then, in line with Psalm 84:11, God is not withholding after all. It just isn’t time. This is one of the top reasons why God doesn’t answer prayers.

  1. You aren’t asking in faith.

How we pray is simply as vital as what we pray for. In James 1:5-8 we’re informed:

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

Moreover, Hebrews 11:6 says, and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. So ask in faith and without hesitation or doubting. God can be waiting for you to believe so that your unanswered prayers can be answered.

  1. God has something better for you than what you’re asking for.

That is my preferred cause for why God does not answer prayers, but we so regularly forget to consider it. Because He is God and is aware of what’s is good for us, and doesn’t want us to settle, God occasionally says no or closes the door due to the fact He has something better for us that we haven’t consider before. He’s one who can do “immeasurably more” than all we are able to ask or consider (Ephesians 3:20). Trust His timing and your unanswered prayers will be answered.

Now you have seen the top reasons why God does not answer prayers or the reason why you get unanswered prayers, do well to share as received.
